Some pets just don't feel they're fed enough and take matters into their own paws, which is exactly what Sparky did when he ate almost THREE pounds of kibble!

This big boy was previously part of a service dog training program but didn't make it to graduation, but that didn't mean he forgot his training!

Sparky decided to make things easy for us and helped himself right on to the radiology table, where he shared snuggles with his veterinary care provider, Bri.

We took radiographs (x-rays) to see how much food was in his belly (it was a lot!) and helped relieve the discomfort from his overfilled stomach.

After recovering all that food, not only did Sparky feel better, his waist returned to its normal, hour-glass shape.

We hope Sparky learned a lesson from his adventure, but with a face like that, how can you say no to giving him all the snacks?

Elliot was the recipient of some one-on-one loving during his visit after some discomfort, lethargy, and flatulence 💨

Despite his t***s, our team loved giving this little guy some snuggles while we obtained diagnostics, and he was a perfect gentleman for the entire visit!

With some answers for his pawrent, medications, and treatments, we sent Elliot on his way to feel better ❤️

Pedro the Boston Terrier puppy won our vote during his visit to UrgentVet-Carytown!

This sociable, confident, cutie-patootie did what big-eyed animals love to do and developed some redness and irritation to his eye, prompting his pawrents to bring him in for same-day care with our team 🩵

With lots of treats and cuddles, we performed diagnostics to identify the cause of Pedro's irritated eye and get him some treatments to help him feel better!

Not every outdoor adventure goes according to plan—just ask Maggie! 🐝

Maggie came to UrgentVet with facial swelling from a suspected insect sting, and our team was ready to help. Allergic reactions in pets can happen quickly and may cause swelling, redness, hives, and in some cases, difficulty breathing.

The good news? Maggie is feeling much better! Her swelling has gone down, and she's back to her happy, playful self—just the way we like to see our patients. 💙
