New puppy alert!

Everyone meet Nova! 💕

This 9-week-old Labradoodle stopped by on May 28th for her first visit with Dr. Puksta, and we were instantly smitten. Between those fluffy curls, puppy-dog eyes, and love for squeaky toys, it’s safe to say she stole a few hearts around the clinic. 🐾

We can’t wait to see this sweet girl back for her puppy adventures and vaccine visits!

🎓🐾 Congratulations, Chimuelo! 🐾🎓

Last week this handsome boy officially graduated from his puppy vaccine series! 🎉

Completing your puppy vaccines is an important milestone that helps protect against serious diseases and gives your pup the best start to a long, healthy life. Now that Chimuelo has finished his core vaccines, he’s one step closer to safely exploring the world, making new friends, and enjoying all of life’s adventures.

We are so proud of how brave he was throughout every visit, and just look at that smile!

Help us congratulate Chimuelo on his vaccine graduation in the comments! 🎓🐶👇

A dog’s reaction to guests can tell us a lot about their comfort level and behavior. Reactions like barking, hiding, or guarding can be linked to anxiety, lack of socialization, or protective instincts. Understanding those signals can help prevent stress and create safer interactions for everyone.

Polydactyl cats are born with extra toes, most often on their front paws. It’s a genetic trait and is usually completely harmless, just an extra dose of cute. That said, those extra toes can come with a few care considerations. More toes means more nails to trim, and sometimes they grow at different angles or are easier to snag if not maintained. Most polydactyl cats live totally normal, healthy lives, but regular paw checks and nail trims are important to keep them comfortable.
