BOOKING ANNOUNCEMENT! 🚨
Spring and summer are by far my busiest times of the year. To streamline scheduling, please text me at (804) 400-7545. If you are a new client, please include your address and number of pets. If you would like to become a repeat client, it is ALWAYS best to get on the schedule ahead of time - booking your next appointment while I’m still at your house for the previous one is much appreciated! I sincerely wish I could find a way to do online booking (trust me, you have no idea 😅), but I’ve yet to figure out a way that makes it feasible for folks without it sending me ping-ponging around RVA versus having appointments grouped somewhat close together to maximize efficiency and keep costs down. Thank you all for your continued patronage, it really means a lot 💕

This boy absolutely made my day yesterday. He was an angel for his nail trim, was literally bigger than a pony I have at home (he came up to my waist!), and the best part? His name is Norman. 😍

Excellent post exemplifying the importance of routine nail care!

Overgrown claws can change the way your cat stands and walks, altering their natural gait. This places extra pressure on the toes, joints, tendons and spine, which over time can contribute to joint pain, arthritis and reduced mobility.

Long claws may also cause slipping on smooth surfaces, painful nail splits, or claws growing into the paw pads — all of which can be uncomfortable and easily avoided with regular trims.

I mostly try to stick to nail trims and such, but sometimes you get a request you can’t turn down - meet Maple, who is hanging at my house for the week while her parents are at Disney! She likes to wear her bedding 😍🐷

HOUND TOWN X RVA PETICURES X HOOVES & PAWS
Come join the most epic group of hounds by joining us at the Chimborazo Dog Park in Church Hill this Saturday, December 28th beginning at 10AM! This no-frills meetup is simply for hounds and those who love them to enjoy some post-holiday fun. RVA Peticures will be doing walk-up nail trims on site with a sliding scale/pay-what-you-can fee structure, and our friends at Hooves & Paws Animal Rescue will have several hounds looking for their furever homes. We can’t wait to see you and your hounds there!

I personally work with this organization helping take care of their bunnies’ nails - if you have ever considered fostering (or adopting!) a rabbit, please reach out. They do amazing work tackling Richmond’s ever-growing stray domestic bunny population!
