Congratulations Team Eliza!

I’ve loved working with this girl! Eliza has such a big personality. She is totally chill and easy. I wish all my clients were this easy as this Team. Eliza will be a star in a up coming play “Annie” this December. Go check her out! She has worked very hard on some of her tricks for the play.

Congratulations on completing level one. I hope to see you both in future classes!

Let’s congratulate Team Finnley on their completion of level one obedience training.

This was such a fun team to work with. Finnley has such a spunky personality. Eric is an awesome handler. He wants to learn as much as possible and help Finnley be the best dog he can be. I can’t wait to see this team in action in our level 2 group.

Congratulations!

Let’s congratulate Team Light on their completion of our behavior modification structured reset course.

Light had no rules, boundaries or proper socialization. He also had too much freedom. Everything spooked him, you could tell he was starting to develop anxiety issues. His owner couldn’t walk him on a leash. He stayed outside most of the time because he would p*e in the house or be destructive.

We focused on getting him on a daily routine and getting him fully potty trained and crate trained. Then we addressed the high arousal and the anxiety that was start to creep in. Along with all that fun stuff we layered in proper socialization, exposure training, leash manners and work on foundational commands.

We don’t want a dog to be shut down or feel like they don’t have any freedom, but we have to establish some semblance of control. Once the dog understands what is acceptable and what isn’t then that door of fun and freedom opens up. Because at that point the dog is listening and responding to the handler. That is where the adventure begins!

Congratulations Team Light!
