Let’s welcome Team Ember to Charlie’s!

This beautiful girl is a whirlwind of energy 😅. She keeps her family on their toes. They definitely don’t need a gym membership with her leash pulling.
We are going to focus a lot on leash manners and calmness. We will layer in her foundational commands with general manners. She is very smart and food motivated, so we have that working in our favor. Stay tuned for updates!

Welcome Team Cooper!

Cooper is joining Charlie’s for behavior modification | intensive reset. He is nervous around new people as you can tell from the video from our evaluation. He likes to try and control the space with family and other dogs in the home. Very territorial over food around other dogs. There has been multiple fights in the home due to this. He can also be very pushy and demanding of his attention.

His owner has been working very hard on all the things I mentioned at evaluation. Our first session went pleasantly well. You can definitely see the difference. I expect to see more improvement by next week. Stay tuned.

1st pet paws alert for 2026 🔥🐾
Many Indiana towns will hit 90° for the first time this year Wednesday and Thursday with very high humidity. (June 10-11)

We will likely have 100°F heat index values across much of the state too.

Hot weather PLUS very high sun angles will make the pavement much hotter. Grass is still okay, but see how much hotter sidewalks and driveways are!

Rule of thumb! If you can’t hold your hand on the ground for more than 7 seconds without getting too hot, then it’s too hot for you pets to walk on a bunch!
