Meet Dr. Smith🐾

Dr. Smith is our veterinarian and owner who has been part of our team since June 2009.

Originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, Dr. Smith enjoys performing exams, surgery, and virtual visits. One of her favorite parts of veterinary medicine is building special bonds with pets and their owners and contributing to their long-term health and happiness.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and pets, reading, traveling, and attending church with her youth group.

A fun fact about Dr. Smith is that she is a House Divided—her husband is a Hokie, while she cheers for UVA!

She also loves Princess Bride, tea, Diet Coke, and UVA football and basketball. When you see her, be sure to say hello!

Meet Dr. Bergeron! 🐾

Dr. Bergeron is from Richmond and has a passion for caring for animals and supporting their families through every stage of life. She especially enjoys surgery and interesting medical cases.

During veterinary school, she completed a clerkship at a mixed-animal practice in Lanark, Scotland, which she absolutely loved!

Outside of work, she enjoys horseback riding, gardening, and knitting.

After 30 years of herding dogs, she fell in love with an 8-pound Chihuahua! She’s also become quite the Arsenal soccer fan, although she’ll always be a Hokie at heart.

We’re so happy to have Dr. Bergeron as part of our veterinary family! ❤️
