Sweet Gracyn needs a warm foster home if anyone is willing to help her now that she’s been trapped. She’s fully vetted including microchipped. She is shy but not feral. Once she trusts her people she definitely wants to be near-but in the meantime a foster must commit to leash walking only on her martingale collar. She can jump a 6’ fence until she is comfortable in her surroundings. She is 40 pounds and dog friendly!

We had two more sightings today in Windsor Farms- so she is thankfully staying in the area. We have a team of volunteers setting up feed stations in the area and scenting a trail to traps.
What you can do? If you live in area, just report sightings. Please DO NOT call out, DO NOT chase/walk/drive after her. (trust us we know it's hard not to do, but this dog has been on her own since 12/28 and is now in survival mode) The goal is to keep her in area not move her somewhere else.
PLEASE DO-Let us know the date time and address or intersection where you spot her. This way we'll keep her feeling safe and quiet, and our volunteers will know where to set the trap. Do not feed- as we need her hungry to go in trap. We have some food scattered to keep her in area.
Thank you all for the love and support. A kind donor bought trail cameras, and volunteers are fying up bacon grease as we speak to scent area!!!

Gracie aka Gracen is a Houlagan's Rest dog that escaped a foster home 12/28/21 near the Richmond Raceway. Yesterday, 2/26/22 several sightings were reported in Windsor Farms. We are asking all dog lovers to please do not chase/feed as we are going to start actively trying to trap here, but DO please report sightings here or call/text 804-405-7195.

If you can assist printing/hanging up Lost Posters, purchase a trail camera, or man feed stations and check traps at night please contact us!
