Meet Brett, our new Practice Manager!

We’re excited to officially introduce Brett as the new Practice Manager of Advanced Animal Care General!

Brett’s journey with Advanced Animal Care began in 2016 as a Client Service Representative before becoming a veterinary technician. After gaining experience in Nashville, she returned to AAC in 2021 as a night-shift treatment technician. In 2022, she stepped into the role of Night-Shift Team Lead and Director of Labor, and now she’s beginning an exciting new chapter leading our General Practice team.

Brett has a true passion for veterinary medicine, but what she loves most is the people. She believes the relationships built with coworkers are just as meaningful as those built with the patients and clients we serve, and she’s excited to continue fostering a positive, supportive environment for both our team and our community.

Outside of the clinic, Brett enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, three cats, and two rescue dogs—both adopted from Advanced Animal Care five years apart. 🐾

Be sure to say hello and help us congratulate Brett on her new role! We’re so excited for this next chapter at Advanced Animal Care General. 💙

Meet Dr. Alexandra Phillips! 🐾

If you’ve visited us over the past couple of months, you may have already had the chance to meet Dr. Alexandra Phillips! Since joining our team nearly two months ago, she has already made a wonderful impact on our patients, clients, and staff.

Dr. Phillips is a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. Although she’s originally from Southern California, Kentucky has been home since she attended Georgetown College in 2017.

Her professional interests include small animal surgery, geriatric care, and preventative medicine, and she is passionate about building strong relationships with both pets and the people who love them. She believes great veterinary care is built on trust, communication, and compassion.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll find her reading a good book, training for a half marathon, or spending time with her husband and their four fur babies.

If you haven’t had the chance to meet Dr. Phillips yet, we hope you will soon! We’re so grateful to have her as part of our team. 💙
