I’ll be spending mine working behind the scenes on more Whiskerful long to-do list and I continue preparing for the cat fest this November.

Instagram voted… and the mustard yellow buckle won. 💛

If you saw my stories, you know I was debating between the usual black buckle and this mustard one. Normally I lean toward black because it feels a little more “masculine” for the boys.

But the mustard yellow buckle kept calling my name. It pulled the yellow flowers out of the print and gave the collar a little more personality.

Most of you agreed. 💛

So while rebuilding inventory for my cat fest in Nov, I made a small collar yesterday.

One of my goals has been to make at least one product a day. Some days that’s all the time I have - about an hour between everything else life requires.

When the collar was finished… I felt like something was still missing.

That’s when I reached for a freshwater pearl.

I originally bought these pearls to make earrings for my daughter a while ago and still had a few left over. Something about this collar made me feel like it needed one too.

I’m a big believer in little details. I tend to follow whatever detail my heart is drawn to in that moment, and this one felt right.

The second I added the pearl, the whole piece felt complete.

It was a tiny serotonin boost for me, and hopefully for you too. 🤗

As a reminder, Milo has been modeling this print for years without a single complaint.

So maybe boys should wear florals and pearls too. 🐈‍⬛✨

Now I need to know…

Should this version make its way onto the shop? 🛍️

My side quests are… side questing. 🤣

When I’m in the zone and feeling extra creative,
my studio ends up looking like this.

Can you guess how many side projects are happening in here?

Fabric everywhere. Tools laid out for whatever I was working on last - jewelry, resin…

and then now I’m over here testing sticker designs because I wanted something for my laptop (and now my daughter wants some too 😂)

Most of my stickers, I usually send off to print
just to save time.

But lately, I’ve been printing and cutting them myself -
and it’s actually been a fun little activity for my daughter and I to do together. Plus she requires many stickers on demand.

I’ve always been someone who wants to try everything.

So this is what it looks like - just different versions of me creating.

I used to work so much in corporate, I didn’t really have time for any of this.

Now my husband just laughs and asks,
“what side quests are you working on today?” 🤣

Honestly… it’s something new every day. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I plan on adding these on the shop and other sticker designs I’ve been working on - will let you all know when it is available!
