Summer practices don’t always make for the easiest nights, but they remind us that good horsemanship comes first.
When the temperatures climb, we adjust. We spend time walking the drill on the ground, talking through our runs before asking more of our horses, keep a close eye on how everyone is feeling, and make sure they get cooled down afterward. They’re every bit as much a part of this team as the riders are, and taking care of them will always be our top priority.
Progress isn’t just about the number of runs we make—it’s about making smart decisions, putting our horses first, and getting a little better every time we come together.
The work we put in today will be worth it tomorrow. 🔥🐎❤️🖤
