Capital City Cats has historically been referred to as the GEMS show by longtime exhibitors and cat fanciers. That’s because the GEMS Cat Club has been hosting this show for nearly 20 years now as a special breed summit for the Egyptian Mau. We are proud to honor the legacy of our club and breed and had 36 Maus entered in our show. This year we hosted an educational seminar for club members and a special Best of the Best competition where the highest scoring Maus had the opportunity for additional prizes and recognition. Winning Best of the Best is a huge honor and we are so proud of Orion and his owners Dilka Marrero Slivinski and Michael Slivinski for all of their hard work and dedication.

Let’s hear it for the spots! is also a breed showcase for the . This weekend we had 36 Egyptian Maus entered into the show, one of the largest gatherings of this cat in the world. We are so proud of all of the owners, exhibitors, and cats for showing themselves off this weekend.
