Beat the heat at this fun-filled, family-friendly event that will feature a feline agility competition and local cat rescues like and their adoptable kitties. In addition, there will be a dedicated education ring where you can learn all about different feline health from local vets and over a dozen vendors that will have some of the most unique cat toys and furniture you’ll ever find.

BIG NEWS: This year GEMS is partnering with the Cat Fanciers of Washington to bring you , all-breed in the Washington, DC area July 27-28, 2024. We are so excited to bring you a jam-packed TWO-DAY show this year complete with 10 rings, a dedicated education ring, stuffed animal contests each day, cat rescues and adoptable cats, a selfie station, the BEST vendors, and SO MUCH MORE. This family friendly event is a perfect way to beat the heat and see 100s of cats across more than two dozen cat breeds.

At the GEMS show, 25 from around the world competed in a special ‘best of the best’ competition where Egyptian Maus across all of the classes were evaluated. Each judge then named their top 5 in breed and then the results were scored in aggregate to award special breed awards.

Here are the Egyptian Maus that earned recognition this year.
