Core K9 was recommended to us by a friend, and we are very grateful for the recommendation. We purchased an Australian Shepard puppy in May 2025 and knew we would need help with his training. In the 3 months Core K9 has been working with our puppy, we've noticed a rapid development in him. Amber and Clayton are definitely experienced professional dog trainers. They are patient with the dogs and even more so with the owners! Highly recommend checking them out.

I was having behavior, crate urination, crate anxiety, and one of my dogs thinking their alpha and wanting to pick fights. I enrolled my american staffordshire terrier mix Padme and my Husky Midna. Not only did the board and train develop them with some obedience, but it taught me and my fiancé how to handle the negative behaviors we were experiencing. Amber and Clayton are absolutely awesome. They're very down to earth and super easy to talk to. I was very nervous about sending my babies away, and I could tell they had a great time and were well taken care of. If you're looking for a dog trainer or somewhere to board while you go out of town, this is the spot 100%

🐾 First day of school!

Yesterday we welcomed THREE new dogs into our Board & Train programs! Boone, Cash and Dash!

The first day typically isn’t filled with complicated obedience or high expectations. Instead, we focus on helping each dog settle in, become comfortable with us and begin building the relationship that their training will depend on.

That means plenty of walks, playtime, exploring, hanging out and learning that being with us is actually… pretty great 💜

It may look like a relaxed first day, but we’re already learning what motivates each dog, how they communicate and what training approach will work best for them.

A strong relationship creates a strong foundation, and that’s where good training begins! 💜

Core K9 is amazing!!! We did a puppy training class and had won a board and train program for our dog Piper. All of the trainers are amazing and very knowledgeable. We throughly enjoyed our experience with them and how well trained our dog has become from their expertise. They also do a dog day care and boarding if you going out of town. Our dog loves being there and interacting with the other dogs and trainers. We can’t recommend them enough!

We cannot say enough good things about CoreK9. We had the best experience and we would recommend Amber and Clayton to anyone. We did the 4 week board and train program. We went in with our male GSD with obedience issues and reactivity problems. One of our biggest issues was pulling on walks. The turnaround that our pup had has quite literally amazed us. We can now take Oskar on stress free walks, hikes, stores, parks, etc. Amber and Clayton were super awesome and communicated well. They made us very comfortable and didn’t make us feel overwhelmed during our training sessions. They are both extremely knowledgeable and supportive. We loved the way the board and train program was set up, we haven’t heard of any other facility that offers the schedule they do. The facility is top notch and they are very transparent about the ENTIRE facility. We received texts, pictures, and videos throughout Oskar’s stay. Oskar absolutely loved them. We trust them with Oskar 1000% and we will be using them for boarding in the future. Overall, we’ve had a wonderful experience and if you’re thinking about taking your pup, do it. We are so excited to continue working with Oskar and allow him to live his life the way he deserves. Thank you CoreK9 team.

Nothing like a group “place” session to kick off Thursday morning!

Finn, Rossi, Azzi, Badger, Blue and Reko working on some impulse control (most of these guys play with each other multiple times each day, so having to “work” without playing can be hard!) and polishing up their obedience around other dogs!
