Friendly Reminder: Our No-Flea Policy ❤️

It's that time of year again, so we wanted to share a quick reminder about our no-flea policy, which is also listed at the bottom of our price guide.

For the safety of all the pups in our care, our other clients, and our family — including our baby — we maintain a flea-free salon. We are an all-natural shop and we do not offer flea treatments. The only truly effective way to get rid of fleas is a treatment plan from your veterinarian.

Often we don't discover fleas until your dog is already in the tub and we've started their bath. When this happens, we have to stop the groom, deep clean and bomb the shop to keep everyone safe.

I've been lenient lately on the fee, but going forward there will be a $100 fee if a dog comes in with fleas. This covers the cost of sanitizing the shop and the lost appointment time for you and other clients.

Please check your dogs regularly before your appointment and talk to your vet about a monthly or 3-month prevention plan. If you do find fleas, please reschedule once they've been treated.

We give plenty of notice because we want to provide the best, safest care for everyone who walks through our door. We love all our clients and truly appreciate your understanding!

We are going to try and work Thursday, but until then we are closed! My partner and I shouldn't have to deal with the fallout of someone else's carelessness while trying to survive. But here we are, our only job is to breathe, rest, and look out for each other at the moment.The shop can wait. Our baby is now sick too… we can’t afford to be off much longer.. just be aware of the situation and make the call. We will be in Thursday if we have appointments. Groom times may vary.. please be patient and understanding. Thank you 🙏 we appreciate you all!

If You're Sick, Please Stay Home

We love you and your pups, but grooming is close-contact.

If you have a fever, cough, or flu symptoms, please have a family member or friend bring your dog in, or simply reschedule — no penalty at all. Haircuts can wait, health can't.

Our baby is here at the shop with us, and we don't want our family or our little one exposed. We are currently sick because illness spreads so quickly in our small space.

If you're feeling unwell, even if you don't feel very contagious, please consider rescheduling or sending someone else. We promise to do the same for you.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us protect our family and keep the shop open for everyone.

Hey 👋
You might notice our front windows look a little creative right now with the cardboard and papers taped up. 😅
We’ve been here two years now, and we’re still making upgrades as we go. Today in particular the parking lot has been very busy, and this old-school setup is helping us block the strong afternoon sun so the electric bill doesn’t get out of hand. It also cuts down on glare inside. Most importantly, it keeps our furry clients calmer — every time someone walks by the pups get excited and worked up. This little DIY trick lets them relax without all the extra stimulation.
It’s just temporary until we can afford proper blinds or shades. We’re continuing to pour our heart into making Dapper Dogs feel like a proper grooming parlor, one improvement at a time.
Thanks for understanding while we keep refining the space. Every dog who walks through these doors leaves a proper gentleman. 🐾
