I have fantastic news! Our little Clementine has finally found her furever home! The weekend was a little hectic, so unfortunately we didn't get any adoption photos but we've gotten tons of updates as she settles in with her new family. She's loving all the attention (and the food) and all her toys (and the food) and looking at birds out the window (and the food).

The Kitten Angels Family as well as the rescue community are mourning the loss of one of our own this week. Betsy Tyler Passed away suddenly on Sunday afternoon while tending to one of her feral colony feeding stations.

In rescue we often say that “Saving one cat does not change the world, but for that one cat the world is forever changed.” That world was made a lot better for all the cats that Betsy impacted over the years through her TNR and fostering efforts.

And even as tragedy struck that impact is still felt as her most recent rescue gave birth to a litter of kittens who were born with complications and would surely have perished had they not been brought into her home and are now in our foster care system.

The world surely lost a great one, but there will be a lot of cats over the rainbow bridge that will surely welcome her to the sunshine.

Our thoughts and prayers go with her daughter and Husband while they deal with this loss.

There will be a wake on Friday, June 21 at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan Street, Schenectady from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, July 6 at 1:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Schenectady, 1221 Wendell Avenue, Schenectady.

Flowers are welcome. Memorial contributions in her name will be received at Kitten Angels at kittenangels.org.

Mary Cassat had her kittens outside, when she was practically a kitten herself.
She was caught as part of a large TNR operation, had her ear tipped in preparation but was found to be too far along in her pregnancy. Thankfully, she found her way into a safe place to have her babies. She is a calm and shy cat, but loves attention. We are very proud of the progress she has made. She absolutely loves the company of other cats, especially her daughter, Vermeer. She would do good with a dog free home. Her birthday is 10/1/2022.

Please note, the approval of an application from Kitten Angels is not a commitment or contract of adoption of any particular kitty. Every adoption is of course contingent on a meet & greet and fosters do get final okay for any adoption, even if approved through Kitten Angels, as they are the ones most familiar with their foster kittens' personalities.

Kitten Angels is a non profit, volunteer organization. We rely solely on fostering, volunteers, donations, and adoption fees. Kitten Angels is a volunteer non-profit organization. An adoption fee of $175 must be paid at the time of adoption by either cash or check. All of our adoptable animals are assessed in foster homes, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
