Sweet senior pup Molly visited yesterday after having some coughing trouble during her dinner the night before. She was the bravest girl while we took x-rays of her upper and lower airway & chest. 🩻 We hope she's feeling better today. ❤️‍🩹

Happy Friday! 🎉 Rex visited earlier this week for joint pain in his legs. ❤️‍🩹 He did great for his x-rays with techs Lucy & Dane!

His x-rays revealed arthritis in his elbows, and the doctor is working with his owner to make a chronic pain management plan to get him some relief! 🐾

Dr. Reid & tech Bianca got some serious kitten time earlier this week! 😻 Bramble & Briar were found alone out in the country & are currently looking for their forever homes.

Their feline triple tests (FeLV, FIV, HW) came back negative, and they've had their first round of FVRCP and a dewormer.

Precious Gigi had an eventful morning after she mistook a treble hook fishing lure for a toy! 😿 Luckily, her owners rushed her in, and Dr. Clark & techs Lucy and Landon sprang into action to quickly remove the hooks from her mouth and paw. 🐾

Gigi is awake from her procedure and feeling much better already! 🩷 She'll have a few more days of pain medication and antibiotics to go home.

Tiny 15 year old Shiky visited Dr. Fraser and Practice Manager/Tech Brooke this morning for a painful spot of irritation on one of her hind legs. 🐾

We clipped & cleaned the area, and Dr. Fraser administered an antibiotic and an anti-inflammatory injection. Shiky also left with an e-collar to help her avoid causing further trauma to the area. We hope she heals quickly! ❤️

This little angel named Fred visited Dr. Kim this past Friday when it was discovered he has parvo. ❤️‍🩹 His awesome parents brought him in ASAP when they noticed he was having loose stools. He was hospitalized for 1 day before going home with supportive care. We hope he keeps improving and feels all better soon!

Parvovirus is a highly contagious and potentially life-threatening disease, especially for puppies.

Signs include vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, and loss of appetite. The best protection is keeping your dog up to date on vaccinations.

If your dog is showing signs of illness, contact us right away. Early treatment can save lives! 🐾
