Welcome to Five Springs Kennels
Michael and Deborah Mayo are the breeders/trainers behind
Five Springs Kennels located in Farmville the “Heart of Virginia” VA. With Michael’s experience in training, breeding and raising Registered Coonhounds for over 30+ years, and Deborah’s love of Wingshooting and Gun dogs, we welcomed our first Boykin Spaniel, our new 9 wk old little female puppy that started it all... Briar Rose, into our family! Although a bird/gundog was a new adventure for both of us, we weren’t experts, but we sure did learn a lot, lol fast! And what a blessing & exciting journey it has been! Our Boykins Spaniels are all Registered with the Boykin Spaniel Society, AKC and UKC and comply with all OFA Clearances and BSS standards to the breed! We offer exceptional bloodlines in our Boykin Spaniels that excel as Hunter/Retriever Gun dogs, in the Fields, Water or Marsh, Dock Diving, as well as a loving family pet, and companion. Our puppies are raised with tons of love from our home to yours! Five Springs Kennels is committed to provide the very best start possible for our puppies, ensuring they are well rounded and adaptable in various environments! Our puppies are socialized at an early age, are introduced with light training to bird wings, scents, and water. If you are looking for a dedicated loyal hunting partner and/or a loving family pet as an addition to your family, we can provide the perfect match for both of you. We invite you to come join us and get updates on current litters and future breedings. Our puppy parents absolutely become family, and we love sharing photos and videos of yours/ours litter mates. If you have any questions or are interested in our Training and Boarding services, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to sharing our passion and photos of this incredible LBD “Little Brown Dog” breed with you!
