It’s never easy saying goodbye to someone who has been such a big part of Valley Animal Hospital. 💙

Dr. Reed’s last day with us will be Thursday, May 21st, as she begins a new adventure in beautiful Colorado — a place that has truly always had her heart.

She’ll be continuing her work at another practice and making the journey with her very loved crew of 3 dogs, 5 cats, 3 horses, and even a snake. Honestly, that feels very fitting for Dr. Reed. 🐾🏔️

We already know she’s looking forward to her new life surrounded by mountain views, fluffy cows, open skies, and plenty of room for her horses to run and thrive. It’s hard not to smile knowing she’s heading somewhere that feels so perfectly HER.

Over the years, Dr. Reed has cared for so many of your pets with compassion, dedication, and genuine love for what she does. She is an incredibly talented doctor, and we know many of our clients have shared special bonds and memories with her throughout her time here.

While we will miss her deeply, we are so excited for this next chapter in her life and know Colorado is lucky to have her.

Sweet 16 for this beautiful girl! 🎉🐾

Lucy the Westie stopped by today for her fluids, and her amazing family surprised our team with cupcakes to celebrate her big milestone. We couldn’t let the day pass without giving her lots of extra cuddles, love, and birthday attention from all of her favorite technicians. 💕

Thank you to Lucy’s wonderful family for letting us be part of her journey and for trusting us with her care all these years. We adore this sweet girl!
