Pickles is quarantine boarding with us until he goes home to his family in Florida. He has completed his 30 days of Quarantine and he is now turned out with the other donkeys, enjoying life here at the rescue.❤️

Pickles is a stunning intact. Jack that came into Quarantine boarding June 26. Immediately we noticed a cough and a high temperature. So we got him into Weems And Stephens Medical Center on June 28. He stayed at Weems and Stephens recovering from the Equine flu and we were able to pick him up July 22. I’m so glad that we were able to get him in to the hospital so he can be treated and recover completely before returning to our Quarantine boarding. He will be going home to his family in Florida possibly next week after transport arrangements are made. What a stunning boy you are Mr. Pickles

We are so excited to announce that we've started using our adoption page again!
We no longer quarantine or rehome Horses. However, we will always be available for advice and any help we can offer our community.
We decided since the Donkeys, and Mules were so endangered that we would change our mission!!
We now rescue directly from the Texas auctions and Kill pens, and assist with owner relinquishments to give these deserving animals a new chance at life.
