We’re excited to announce that **online reservations and the Paw Partner mobile app are launching August 31st!** 🎉

Starting August 31st, you’ll be able to **book your pet’s stay through our website or from the Paw Partner mobile app on your phone.** 📱💻

The app will also make it easier to manage your pet’s information, keep vaccination records updated, and stay connected with TKM Kennels—all in one place! 🐶❤️ We will still be here to take reservations over the phone, messages, and email too. 🤗

We’re always looking for ways to make things **easier, more organized, and better for our clients and their pets.**

Happy National Dog Day! 🐾❤️

Today we’re celebrating the goofy, loyal, loving, muddy, energetic, couch-stealing, treat-loving dogs that make our lives so much better.

At TKM Kennels, we’re lucky enough to spend our days surrounded by some pretty amazing pups. Every dog has their own personality, quirks, and way of showing us who they are—and we love getting to know them all. 🐶

To all the dogs who make us laugh, get us outside, keep us company, and remind us to slow down and enjoy the moment… today is for YOU! ❤️

Give your pup an extra treat, an extra belly rub, and maybe let them have the good spot on the couch. They deserve it. 🐾

🐾 A Friendly Reminder About Kennel Cough Vaccinations 🐾

We've been seeing a particularly difficult strain of kennel cough circulating in our community, so we want to remind everyone how important it is to keep your dog's Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination up to date.

While no vaccine is 100% effective, staying current helps reduce the severity of illness and slows the spread when dogs are around one another. Just like children returning to school or daycare, dogs are exposed to more germs when they're socializing, and vaccines are one of the best tools we have to help protect them.
TKM Kennels requires all boarding and daycare dogs to have a current Bordetella vaccination. We will not be able to accept dogs that do not meet this requirement. Please check your pet's vaccination records before your stay and contact your veterinarian if an update is needed. Remember that vaccines need time to become effective, so don't wait until the day before boarding.

Our goal is to provide the safest, healthiest environment possible for every pet in our care. Thank you for helping us protect all of our four-legged guests! 💜

🐾💜 A few photos from my camera roll that made me smile, so I had to share!

One of my favorite parts of each day is spending a little extra one-on-one time getting to know some of our guests. Every dog is different—some are ready to make friends the moment they walk through the door, while others need a little more time, patience, and reassurance.

Building trust isn't just something I enjoy—it's one of the most important parts of caring for your pets. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they're here. Some dogs settle in during their very first visit, while others need a couple of stays before they really get the hang of the kennel routine—and that's perfectly okay. We work at each dog's pace, helping them build confidence with every visit.

Watching those shy tails start to wag and seeing their personalities come out is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. Thank you for trusting me with your four-legged family members. 🐶💜🎾

P.S. 🦴 Treats are one of my favorite ways to break the ice and start building trust with your pet. Sometimes a tasty snack is all it takes to make a new friend! If your pet has a favorite treat or a special high-value snack they love, feel free to pack a few along for their stay. It can make those first introductions even more positive and help them feel right at home. 💜🐾
