1️⃣ Gently glide your hands over your dog's body, feeling for any small bumps or lumps.⁠
2️⃣ Focus more on areas like the ears, neck, underarms, groin, and between the toes.⁠
3️⃣ Part the fur for a closer inspection, using a fine-toothed comb if necessary.⁠
4️⃣ Look for tiny, dark spots or moving critters—these could be ticks!⁠
5️⃣ If a tick is found, use fine-tipped tweezers to grasp it as close to the skin as possible.⁠
6️⃣ Gently pull the tick straight out, ensuring the entire tick, including the mouthparts, is removed.⁠
