There are times in life when we all need a little help—whether it's a small boost to see things from a different perspective or a full-on life raft to help us stay afloat. Know your people. Know the ones who lift you up, cheer you on, and stand beside you when you need them most.

Sometimes those people are brand-new faces who come into our lives at just the right moment, and sometimes they're the faithful friends who have always had our backs. ❤️

Teddy is the very best big brother, and Nalla definitely knows who she can count on! Watching these two together is such a sweet reminder of what friendship, trust, and support look like. 🐾

Good morning, friends! ☀️

Keeping up with this week's trend of introducing our newest friends, meet Sammy! 🐾 Although he looks quite serious in his picture, he's a total goofball at heart. It might be that distinguished little goatee giving him such a dignified look, but don't let it fool you—this handsome guy kept us smiling during his stay.

Sammy had a fantastic first boarding experience with us and quickly proved to be a phenomenal guest. He settled in wonderfully, enjoyed his time here, and was an absolute pleasure to get to know.

We loved spending time with you, buddy, and can't wait to see you again. Until next time, Sammy!

Good morning friends! Sticking with the theme of introducing you to our new friends, meet Jasmine, our beautiful new friend ! 🐾

Jasmine is still just a pup and has had a rough start after being hit by a car back in January. She has spent a lot of time recovering safely at home in a kennel, so we weren't quite sure how she would settle in here.

She did absolutely fantastic! Jasmine loved visiting with dog friends through their kennel doors and especially loved all the one-on-one attention from us. 💕

You are such a doll baby and we absolutely loved spending time getting to know you, sweet girl!! Until next time!! 💖

Good morning friends! Welcome to this Sunday’s Shelter Spotlight 🐾

This week we’re shining a light on the wonderful team at Jasper County Animal Shelter & Control in Rensselaer. They have been recipients of our Pet Giving Tree a couple of times and while they may be a smaller facility, they work incredibly hard to provide the best care possible for every fur-baby that comes through their doors.

The Jasper County Animal Shelter is a county-funded facility that cares for stray and surrendered animals, primarily dogs and cats, while also handling animal control services. With limited space, they continue doing everything they can to help animals find safe, loving homes. They also offer fostering opportunities and work alongside rescue organizations to help more pets in need.

A few things to know:
🐾 Very limited capacity — approximately 7 dogs and 7 cats at a time
🐾 Adoptions are by appointment only
🐾 Adoption fees include initial vaccinations and treatments
🐾 Spay/neuter and rabies vaccinations are required before adoptions are finalized

🐾 Good morning friends and welcome to this week’s Tail-Waggin Highlights, Saturday June 6th edition!

With summer in full swing, our boarding schedule is filling up quickly! If you're planning time away this summer, please be sure to send us your boarding request as soon as possible so we can make sure your pup has a spot reserved.

Our grooming schedule is also nearly full through the end of the month. While we patiently await the return of one of our groomers, we are still actively looking to add to our team! Are you a groomer, or do you know one who may be looking for a change? We'd love to hear from them! Please call or text Kendra at 765-409-7243.

Good morning friends! This one is too good not to share!! Meet Miss Daisy, our brand new friend. She had never experienced a professional deshedding before, and boy was now as good a time as any! Challenge accepted😂!!

After a solid 2 hours of floof-palooza filling the grooming room, we uncovered such a beautiful girl with one of the softest, healthiest coats we've seen. Daisy was a little unsure of the process at times, but with lots of reassurance, praise, and all the "good girls," we made it through together. She definitely felt so much better afterward!

We can't wait to see you again in a few months to help keep up with that floof. Looking beautiful, sweet girl! 🐾❤️
