Lead Outs! Workshop
Description: Leading out creates calm, smooth handling. Learn how to create a stay that will let you have a lead out and learn how to handle from a distance to utilize that lead out.

What’s Your Number?
Description: How many obstacles can you successfully do in a row on an European Style course? We will work on skill building and mental stamina to successfully conquer the course. What is your number you feel confident you can run clean? 3, 7, 15 obstacles or even a full course. Let’s grow your number!!

Beat the Best ~ National Level Courses Jackpot Event

What to Expect:
Running courses from previous events. Course maps posted on paper at site. 8 minute walk through, 5 minutes till first dog, and 1 chance to run the course.

Finals

Jackpot Winner:
Jackpot awarded to winner(s) of JWW, STD, and Finals. The winner will be determined by best score with fastest time as tie breaker of 4in-12in, and 16in-24in. After the top team from each group has been determined, there will be a run off. Run off will be clean run wins. If both run clean the jackpot will be split between them.

Beat The Best:
Who is the best? The winners at the National event. If you beat their time/score in your jump height you will receive an additional prize!!

Rules and Additional Info:
This event is a non-titling event. It's a stand alone jackpot event. Anyone can enter. All equipment will be set to competition regulations with the exception of the teeter. The teeter can be adjusted lower to protect the dog's confidence who are new to agility and want to join the event. No treats or toys while running. Scoring will be -5 per each fault. AKC rules apply. This is a fully fenced, artificial turf field with rubber infill. All equipment is from cleanrun and competition grade.

July 18 at 5pm - Westminster Courses
August 1 at 5pm - US Open Courses
September 19 at 4pm - AKC Invitational Courses

Let’s talk Agility Workshops (because you’ll be seeing them often 😉)

Greatest Family Dog, Puppy Palooza!, and other classes have big commitments of 6-10 lessons that at this time I can’t 100% commit to. So my work around that idea is Agility Workshops. These are a one time 2.5 hour workshop (you can sign up for multiple 😉). Agility Workshops help align so many different schedules.

❤️‍🔥 Agility Workshops:
- will have an agility focus that’ll be described in the post.
- can accommodate any level of agility (especially those who this is your first time seeing agility equipment)
- can accommodate if you need to work on obedience skills

🤔 How do Agility Workshops work?
Dogs take turns working one at a time. You get my full attention during your time.
Working time is about 7 minutes and then we rotate. During your working time we can work on the agility workshop focus or obedience training. Need help with recalls? This is PERFECT!

If your dog is waiting please have them in a crate. This is a great opportunity to work chilling in a crate while another dog works and gives your dog a moment to decompress from their working time.

‼️Added bonus to you
You get to audit other people’s lessons!! In one workshop we could have someone needing help in agility and someone else needing help with recalls, focus training, stays, etc. and you get to learn from them working their dog!! Have your dog in their crate and come stand by me to hear all the training info. A really cool opportunity you can’t find anywhere else.

This T2B course from the Blackfoot judge will be set up this week if anyone needs a quick confidence boost before the show. Ring rental available. Send me a message to sign up.

DW available for practice. It’ll be placed where jump 12 and 13 are to give to tunnel/jump discrimination practice also.
