✨ Meet Lennox — Your Fluffy Little Lovebug

Lennox is a sweet, fluffy ball of pure affection. This handsome boy is the definition of a cuddle cat — he adores pets, snuggles, and curling up on a warm lap, shoulder, or chest. He loves being carried, happily accepts kisses, and will even return them with the softest little lick. If you’re looking for a cat who truly bonds with his people, Lennox is your guy. 💛

Lennox thrives with other kitties and absolutely loves having feline friends. He enjoys being “the baby” of the group, soaking up grooming and affection from cats who welcome him into their circle. Because he’s so playful and social, he must go to a home with another kitten or a playful cat to wrestle, chase, and cuddle with.

This boy has a playful streak and can be a little rough when he’s having fun — he sometimes gives gentle “love bites” when playing with humans. Because of this, he’ll do best with cat-savvy, school-aged children or older who understand kitty play and don’t mind his affectionate nibbles.

His long, luxurious coat gets fluffier by the day, and thankfully Lennox doesn’t mind being brushed at all. Daily brushing is important to keep his fur soft, clean, and tangle-free — and he actually enjoys the extra attention.

Lennox has not lived with dogs, but he has excellent litter box habits and is very food-motivated. He especially loves his daily wet food (it’s his favorite part of the day!) and should go to a home committed to keeping up with that routine. He’s also a big fan of the cat wheel — don’t let those little kitten legs fool you, this boy can sprint like a pro! 🐾

This big man, Mango, that I recently rescued from a gutter, has since been diagnosed with Toxocara AKA roundworms. Diagnosis was based on a f***l sample that we sent to Antech Lab.

Roundworms are zoonotic, meaning they can be transmitted to humans via f***l-oral route, and by primarily not washing hands after handling a positive cat. Cats will sometimes vomit up round worms. They are large tubular worms that look like spaghetti.

After Mango’s treatment, I will be retesting a f***l sample to ensure the treatment was successful.

Do you have pet birds? Are their nails digging into your skin? Is their beak getting too long? We can help. Most birds require nail trims and beak trims several times per year. We understand how stressful it can be for a bird to have their nails and beaks dremeled. We do our best to make the process as fear free as possible by taking breaks and offering yummy treats and lots of praise!

Starting next week we will be offering routine vet visits in the comfort of your home. Is your dog or cat up to date on vaccines? If not, we can help. Keeping your dogs and cats up to date on their rabies vaccine is a state law. They must be rabies vaccinated by 4 months of age. You don’t want to get post exposure vaccines…trust me…they aren’t fun.

Paws To Heal Veterinary Services, owned by Dr. Kim Danoff, is a house call practice in Northern Virginia. Our patients include dogs, cats, and birds. We are currently offering in home hospice care and in home euthanasias. We will be expanding on our services over the next month and will include routine (vaccines) and sick pet apts.
