From consultation to Miami cut! ✨🐩
When this Standard Poodle came to Giving Tree K9 Club, their pet parent was looking for a fresh start after having a difficult experience at another grooming facility. They shared concerns about scheduling, communication, and not being able to get the style they wanted because the previous groomer had personal preferences regarding the requested cut.
Their goal? A Miami cut with boots, a fluffy head, and long, fluffy ears. 💕✂️
Before getting started, Groomer Piero took the time to discuss the desired style and coat length, assess the quality and condition of the coat, and explain what would be needed to achieve the look. We also discussed the slight matting present and any potential additional grooming fees before moving forward.
After the consultation, we got to work!

🐾 Style: Fluffy head + long, fluffy ears, clean face and feet
🐾 Coat: Assessed for quality, condition, and maintainability
🐾 Communication: Parent informed of concerns and grooming considerations before proceeding
A couple of things are still a work in progress:
🐾The top knot will need some correction as it grows and is shaped over future appointments.
🐾The shaved area on the back right leg is from a previous surgery and will naturally grow back over time.
