The T litter took their socialization skills on the road! 🐾🎉

Our puppies had an amazing visit with the residents at Aegis Marymoor, making new friends and experiencing all kinds of new sights, sounds, and people.

Wheelchairs? Walkers? Lots of unfamiliar faces? These little pups handled it all beautifully!

A huge thank-you to Aegis Marymoor for inviting us and to the wonderful residents for giving our puppies such a warm welcome.

Experiences like these help build confident, well-socialized dogs, and we couldn't have asked for a better group of people to share the day with! ❤️

100 dogs. 100 forever homes. 285 days. 🐾❤️

Yesterday, Northwest Working Breed Rescue celebrated our 100th dog finding a forever home in 2026!

From our very first adoption in January to this incredible milestone, every dog has had their own story, and every happy ending has been made possible by people who care.

To our fosters, adopters, volunteers, rescue partners, donors, and everyone who has supported us along the way: thank you. We couldn't do this without you.

Here's to the first 100, and all the lives we'll change together next! 🥳

From coyotes and a busy road to puppy chaos! 🐾❤️

The T litter's story could have ended very differently. These five Husky-mix puppies were found on a busy road in Sunnyside, WA, with coyotes nearby.

Thankfully, a kind neighbor scared the coyotes away and gathered up the puppies. Our rescue partner, Wabi Sabi Paws, stepped in and helped get them safely to us.

Now Taryn, Tenley, Topaz, Trigg, and Twyla are growing like weeds, finding their play styles, and getting ready for their next adventure: forever homes! ❤️

Apparently, when you bring in this many puppies in a couple of weeks, you also bring in a whole lot of teeth. 🦷🐶

Our puppy crews have been putting their chew toys to work, and we could really use some help restocking puppy-safe teething toys and chews.

Rubber toys, puppy teething toys, durable chew toys—anything that helps give those little shark teeth somewhere appropriate to go would be greatly appreciated. 💚

Sometimes rescue means dropping everything and getting in the car.

At 7:45 last night, we got an emergency call about four puppies in Grandview, WA. Coyotes were nearing the property, and they needed to get out as soon as possible.

We headed east while the independent rescuer helping them, graciously transported the puppies halfway to meet us. After a 200-mile round trip, everyone arrived safely at NWWBR HQ around 11 PM.

Late night? Absolutely.
Worth it? Every single mile. 💚

Those eyes are doing a lot of the heavy lifting here. 👀💚

But Ryker has plenty more going for him—the ears, the head tilts, the puppy strut, and some very serious opinions about sticks.

He’s the kind of dog who makes you stop scrolling, and then gives you plenty of reasons to keep watching.
