💫SAS VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH: DANA!💫
FIVE YEARS. Twice a week. Every week.
If there is one word for Dana, it’s consistent (and snarky, and funny, and kind- so more than one word, but you get it...).
For five years (THIS MONTH!!), Dana has been one of those volunteers we simply count on 100%—sometimes probably a little too much. She shows up, gets to work, and somehow manages to accomplish the work of about 25 volunteers in a single shift.
Sitting still? Not an option. If there’s something that needs doing, Dana has probably already noticed it... and is halfway done.
And because apparently that isn’t enough, she’s also an incredible artist. The murals and hand-painted signs around the Sanctuary? That’s Dana.
She has given us five years of her time, talent, creativity, hard work, and dependability—and we simply could NOT do what we do without her (and we wouldn't want to, it just wouldn't be as fun!).
Happy 5-year SAS anniversary, Dana. We are so lucky to have you. 💕
