This week's Pet of the Week is our good friend W***y! 💙

W***y is a 9-year-old Pomeranian mix and one of our favorite frequent visitors. Whether he's stopping by for a toenail trim or his monthly Cytopoint injection, we're always excited to see his happy face walk through the door!

Over the years, we've collected quite the photo album of W***y from his many visits, and it's been such a joy watching him continue to thrive. He is always a wonderful patient and a beloved member of the TMVH family. 🐶✨

⚠️ Blue-Green Algae Watch at Lahontan Lake

Lahontan Lake is currently in the WATCH zone for harmful algal blooms. These blooms can be extremely dangerous to both people and pets.

If you're planning a lake day with your dog, avoid water that appears green, blue-green, scummy, or has surface mats. Even a small amount of contaminated water can cause serious illness.

🐾 Keep pets out of affected areas
🐾 Prevent drinking from stagnant water
🐾 Rinse pets thoroughly if they enter questionable water
🐾 Contact your veterinarian immediately if exposure is suspected
