4 days per week THUR-SUN (30+ hrs wk)

We are a Private family farm with 15 horses/stalls located in Reidsville NC looking for a dependable, hard working and self motivated individual that has basic experience caring and working with horses.
Job duties will include:
-AM and PM Feeding horses (preparing grain and supplements, feeding hay)
-Cleaning and rebedding stalls
-Pasture Turnouts (hand walking in and out)
-Blankets and sheets (in winter)
- Sweeping barn alleys
- Organizing and cleaning the barn
- Watering and dragging arenas
- Occasional grooming/bathing
** Must be able to lift a 60 lb bale of hay or bag of grain, push/pull a full wheelbarrow, shovel sawdust, and work in all types of weather conditions **
++ Must be 16+ with valid NC drivers license, and dependable transportation, must speak reasonable English. No smoking, no drugs, no alcohol on premises.
Competitive Pay based on experience. Paid weekly (reported annually with 1099).
