Arlo is really getting this public access work. Handled a very busy waiting area with minimal redirection. Our second time at a sit down restaurant and he settled in less than 3 minutes under the table. He is almost ready for his full placement to his chosen human!

As some are aware; Arlo, Celeste, and Zuri (Little) were in the vehicle when I wrecked in August. Somehow, all of us were able to walk away with minimal bruises, soreness, and mental trauma. But the wire crates that were used to transport were damaged beyond use. This brought a valid concern to the forefront of our operation: that safe transportation is a must. With safety comes a hefty price. Can you help? 🦮🐾

Your gift helps Hope Paws and Second Chances protect rescued animals during every mile of their journey. 🚗🐾Crash-tested crates keep dogs safe on the road to…

A service dog isn’t a pet with a vest.

They’re trained to give someone with a disability something most of us take for granted: independence.

They retrieve what we can’t. Open doors. Provide stability. Recognize changes before we do. Wake us from nightmares. Create space. Get help. And so much more!

And then there are the things you can’t train.

The trust. The confidence. The freedom that comes from knowing they’re there.

Yesterday was National Service Dog Day. 🦮

A day to recognize some of the most unsung heroes around!!

I’m fortunate enough to call one of them Celeste.

Today she accompanied me to my cardiologist appointment and this was her first public appearance since our car accident, she rocked it like always!

Go comment for us! We could use a little help!

🐾 Around here, dogs aren’t just pets... they’re family. ❤️ So for Dog Days of Summer, we want to do a little good while we’re all together.

We’re looking for a local dog rescue to collect donations for during the event, and we’d love for our community to choose.
🐶 Drop your favorite local rescue in the comments and tell us why they deserve a little extra love. We’ll pick one and spend the day collecting donations to help them continue the amazing work they do.

We’ll see y’all Saturday, July 11th from 10 AM–2 PM at Mal’s Fresh Produce. Bring the family, bring your pup (on a leash!), and let’s make it a day full of wagging tails and giving back. 💛🐕
