Rough Cut Ranch would like to welcome Tribute To Tiah. “Amber”, a 2018 AQHA mare sired by These Irons Are Hot stands 17h and weighs approximately 1400 #. In true RCR fashion, Amber is a diamond in the rough. She has never worn a saddle and has had minimal ground work. Behavioral issues began to arise early in her adulthood and her previous owner was unable to handle her safely. Since purchasing her, we have been diligent in maintaining consistent discipline and expectation, structure, and routine. Any horse can become dangerous without proper “guard rails”, but Amber is already showing great improvement in attitude which proves that like any other horse, she wants and needs a leader.
We will spit, polish, grind, and buff until she is the sparkling gemstone we know she can be. While she will probably never be a beginner/intermediate safe lesson horse, our trainer should be able to exhibit her in the show pen as a hunter under saddle horse after some time in the program.
