This morning started off to be a bad Monday morning. My husband alerted me that my little mini Milly didn’t feel well. I raced down to the barn to give her an assessment. I believe she was in early signs of colic. I listened to her gut and called the vet. He was on his way.
Upon arrival he assessed her and found the same reason. He administered banamine and probably 10-15 minutes later she had a bad seizure. It was horrific. I have owned her for 6 years. She was rescued from the slaughterhouse. We don’t know the trauma they go through before bringing them home.
We don’t know why she had a seizure. Could have been anything that caused it. Thank god for my vet for giving her the best and prompt treatment. Even when she plowed into him knocking him off his feet.
It took her all day to show great signs of improvement. We will continually monitor her health now and in the future. She’s a great little pony. I pray this all passes for her soon and she never has another problem. Milly we love you.
