Today marks the first day in public media’s history without federal funding. It’s the beginning of a new chapter – but we’re not going anywhere.

NPR and its stations aren’t giving up, because listeners like you keep our mission alive. You believe in the value of giving voice to people who aren’t being heard. You know the importance of uplifting stories that explain how diverse we are as a nation. And you’re the reason why the American experience is worth reporting on, every day.

Together, we won’t go dark. Join us on this historic day and protect one of the last places where America comes together to hear itself, understand one another, and acknowledge that we belong to one always-changing story.

Your donation today will help keep us strong on the road ahead – click the link below to join us.
