Quiggy - a truly special horse looking for his next partner in a full or half in-barn CARE lease!
Enough good things cannot be said about this horse. Qui Gon Jinn is a fantastic 19 year old 16.3 hand bay TB gelding. He rides like a warmblood and has a heart of gold. He is sweet, kind, gentle and a pleasure to ride. He has been half-leased for the last 20 months and is now looking for his new person (or people) to educate because his owner started her first year of college on the East Coast and his lessor moved to Spain. Quiggy is just as happy to go to a show as he is being at home. He is well-educated in his flat work, easily performing lateral work (leg-yield, shoulder-in, haunches-in, renvers and half pass) at the walk, trot and canter. He is eager to please and can be ridden alone or in a group, behaving the same in both situations. He will teach you how to be straight, balanced and to develop an independent seat as he fully understands self-carriage. Quiggy no longer jumps as he has kissing spine, but he is perfectly happy doing dressage! Quiggy has shown in many of the local COCODS Dressage Shows and is always in the ribbons, oftentimes winning his classes. If you want to learn the beauty of dressage with a safe and happy partner, Quiggy is the right horse for you!
