Spring brings fresh air—and sneezes, itchy skin, and paw-licking for many pets. We see it every year at Mountain View Animal Hospital. I want you and your pet to enjoy spring without the scratching.

Watch for signs: constant itching, paw licking, red or inflamed skin, frequent ear issues, or changes in grooming. At home, try wiping paws after walks, weekly baths with a gentle vet-recommended shampoo, vacuuming with a HEPA filter, and limiting outdoor time during peak pollen hours. Omega-3 supplements can also help reduce inflammation.

If symptoms persist, please schedule an exam. We offer diagnosis and treatments—from targeted prescriptions like Apoquel or Cytopoint to allergy testing and immunotherapy—delivered in our Fear Free, low-stress environment. Book today so your pet can smell the flowers, not scratch at them. 🌼🐾
