Can softwood bedding pellets work for both cats and dogs?

It’s a question we’ve been hearing more often at FirstFruits Feed.

For many cats, softwood bedding pellets can be a practical alternative to traditional clay litter. Some dog owners also use them in indoor potty areas, especially for puppies, senior dogs, and apartment living.

Pet owners often appreciate:
✔️ Lower dust
✔️ Less tracking
✔️ Strong moisture absorption
✔️ Natural odor control
✔️ Simple cleanup once they learn the system

We carry Softwood Bedding Pellets and are happy to explain how they work, what to expect when transitioning a cat, and how some dog owners add a small amount of Timothy or alfalfa pellets for a more natural grassy scent.

Every pet is different, so the best setup is the one that works for your animal, your home, and your routine.
