Confident Paws Dog Training

Say hi to Hoku! 👋 A walk and train day looks like this: sniffing, strolling, and a little practice along the way so the skills carry over to everyday walks at home. Happy dogs, happy humans. 🍁

Every reactive dog has a rumble before the eruption.

In this clip, watch Star catch that rumble and choose to check in with me instead of reacting. That's the skill, intercepting the pressure before it blows.

But here's the real goal: we don't just want to catch eruptions, we want fewer of them to ever start. That's what connected walking builds, a dog so tuned in to you that the volcano stays quiet.

The full volcano framework, how to read the rumble and keep it quiet, is coming in my 6-Week Connector Walk Guide. Stay tuned.

Grateful to be deepening this work through the Waldrop Somatic Method for Dogs.

Reactive dog and need help now? Confident Paws has you. Force-free, always.

Ever wonder why your dog is perfect at home but falls apart the moment another dog walks by? That's not disobedience, that's disconnection and the result of placing your dog in an environment they just aren't ready for.

Sneak peek! This is the Distraction Ladder, the framework for how I teach leash walking skills, whether for a service dog, a new puppy, or an adolescent that needs to go back to the basics, The framework is the same, the games are easy and fun to play, with real world success. I'm excited to share the full 6 Week Training plan to curb leash pulling and build connection with you, the most important part in all of this! ,
