HAPPY VETERINARY TECHNICIAN WEEK! 🐶🐱🐰🐭🦔🐷🐮🐴🐐🐍🦅

A veterinary technician is an invaluable part of any veterinary team. We are fortunate enough to have four amazing, skilled, compassionate, and dedicated technicians at Saranac Veterinary Clinic! A vet tech can draw blood, administer vaccinations, evaluate lab samples under the microscope, take x rays, monitor and recover animals under anesthesia, and so much more! 🐾 We appreciate our techs every day but want you all to show them a little extra love this week! Drop a comment below or stop in and let them know you care 🫶🏻✨🙌🏼

📣 New appointment policy📣
As many of you know, we have been in a very busy season. We do our best to accommodate all appointment requests but are sometimes unable to see our sick patients the same day they call.

We wanted to make all of our clients aware of our appointment policy going forward. We will be doing all reminder calls for appointments at least 48 hours in advance. If we do not speak to you directly to confirm your appointment, then we will leave a voicemail as well as send an email reminder for your appointment, and will require you to call or email back to confirm. If you do not confirm the appointment within 24 hours, then the appointment WILL BE CANCELED to allow us to accommodate other clients. If you confirm the appointment and do not show up, there is $60 fee for missed appointments and a $100 fee for missed surgeries.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter. We have been testing out this policy for a couple of weeks and so far the majority of appointments have been confirming/showing up. However, after 3 no-show appointments yesterday afternoon we have decided to become more firm on the cancelling of non-confirmed appointments.

Thank you for all of your support!
