Good morning everyone. It has been quite awhile since I posted last.
It has come to my attention that some of my messages may not be going through. I double checked my side and it says they went through but this customer did not receive it. I have had an increase in calls asking if I'm taking new clients recently. I'm trying to keep up with all the messages. I'm sorry if I haven't gotten back to some of you. Unfortunately, I'm not taking new customers at this time.

Fall is my favorite time of year. As it is approaching fast I wanted to remind people that burrs can become problematic. They inspired the invention of velcro for a reason. I wanted to share some tips I've learned to get them out of fur.

I get the little ones out (like the ones in this picture) with a slicker brush and a leave in condition called The Stuff. You then brush all the little suckers out. Be mindful not to brush hard on the skin. Slicker brushes can irritate the skin and cause brush burn.

The way I get the big seed like burrs out is by using The Stuff and hand picking them out. If you hit them with a brush they can break and get harder to get out.

Please be patient with your fur babies. This process can take awhile. If the burrs get matted into the hair, dogs can get sores and even infections. Happy Fall everyone!!!

Being a small business owner means your work follows you everywhere. Even to Mexico when you're on vacation. I will be spending this week continuing to get caught up on making appointments.
