Unique's Pet Services has been in the mobile services business the longest at nearly a decade, and I have continued to be the least expensive at only $10 a pet nail trim to clip and $15 a pet nail trim to clip and grind! Our hundreds of 5 star reviews across several platforms speak for itself!

To celebrate my birthday this month, I decided to give back to our (comment) amazing clients with gift bags to all who book any service appointment in September!

Bags contain our homemade dog treats, paw print or animal key chain, notepad with a paw print pen, and a small animal stress (for) squeezable! (All items are new or homemade)

We carry numerous size clippers, (a) grinders, muzzles, and powder for any accidental bleeds on wiggly or black nails. (collapsible)

We strive to provide a stress free approach with the same people to build trust with your pets, and we specialize in the less than cooperative that have been turned away by others! We do any and all breeds, sizes, and temperaments for dogs, cats,birds, rabbits, Guinea pigs, ferrets, sugar gliders, reptiles, and even pot bellied pigs! (Pot bellied pigs are $25 a pet)

We accept cash, Venmo, Cashapp, Chime, or run cards via Square. (pet)

We do have a few pet items for sale, including homemade dog treats, pet seatbelts, small and medium-sized collars, plus collapsible bowls. We will be setting up a site to order items soon, along with adding more items.

We are playing catch up this week after my unplanned vacation in the hospital. Savannah is out today working a 12-hour day with 12 stops to catch up in the metro area.

Although the start of the week was a bit rough, business continues as usual today, August 27th! Savannah will be out doing our $10 a pet nail trims for Adams, Union, Clarke, Ringgold, and Taylor County this afternoon and evening.

Tomorrow, August 28th, she will be in the Omaha metro area, including Glenwood ,Plattsmouth, Blair, and CB..

Saturday, August 29th, will be in the Page, Fremont, Montgomery, and Cass counties. Let me know if you would like an appointment! Thanks 😊

To the few people who gave kind words and left reactions to my landing an unplanned 4 day vacation in the hospital this week. I want you to know that they are planning to let me out tonight! I plan to walk right out that door finally! It's nice to know that some people care.. thanks 😊

I hadn’t planned to share, but if I missed telling someone, I need to push appointments for this week to Thursday and Friday. As I shared last week, I became extremely sick last Monday and Tuesday, and I thought that I was doing much better by Friday and Saturday. However, late Saturday night, I had begun having the same issues all over again.

Well, by Sunday morning, I was in horrible pain and extremely ill, which landed me in the hospital. I thought it was going to be just a 1 night vacation, but it was extended, and we will see how it goes tomorrow.

Savannah will be out later in the week and planning on Thursday and Friday or this, depending on when I return from my unplanned vacation! 😂

Autism Spectrum Disorders are extremely complicated and can manifest differently in each person. It can be a minor to a severe condition with numerous bits and pieces that many have never encountered or dealt with. Adults and children have good days and bad like any other person in the world, but things that many people take for granted can be a huge trigger for those with ASD.

Savannah was stabbed in the back by 2 people she trusted the most, outside of her family! Savannah has always been a very loving trusting person and wants to think that everyone is good and they don't have an agenda. Unfortunately, she is figuring out the hard way that the world we live in is not one where the good guy wins and the bad guy gets what is coming to them. That those we are taught to trust can be biased, hold grudges, and have a vendetta.

She now has more triggers, worse anxiety, fear of places and people that were once safe to her, including her own home which should be a safe place for anyone! Yet, at the same time she gets extreme anxiety about being away from the house! She is having trouble being home alone, away from home, even at home, with me always home! I have put up both hidden and obvious cameras to cover all areas inside and out trying to help her, to no avail. Most of those still following us know what happened after trusting the wrong people including those were taught to trust. ASD has been difficult enough for her over the years and now after making huge progress, she has been set back worse than before! Those who have ASD children or grandchildren can send their suggestions or thoughts to help her.

We are just doing our grooming services in people's homes with owners at this time and not accepting drop-in, or pet sittings and don't want our clients offering those services and getting beat up by the ignorant public who only know what a small snippet, rumors, and vendetta has been reportied. As it was brought to my attention, people don't want the truth! They prefer to ridicule, whine, and judge others because it's easier to make themselves feel better. It's such a sad world that we live in!

Here are a few important posts for low-cost vaccines and discounted neutering for male dogs. I know that these are not in the metro area. However, I feel they are worth the drive, and I have used both places myself with great experiences.
The 1st flyer is for the low-cost vaccine clinic in Red Oak, IA. (Approximately 50-55 minutes from CB and Omaha) I did this clinic for 2 years and feel it’s well worth the drive! ALL vaccines are only $10 each! Examples: You can get 1 dog vaccinated for $30 if you do the rabies, distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella, which are recommended by veterinarians and required to use dog parks and groomers. Granted, you may use $20-30 in gas (ballpark), so you may spend $50 to go to Red Oak for vaccines on 1 dog while on average, the veterinarian office charges $25-$30 per vaccine, plus around $50-$75 for the visit.. (1 dog at the veterinarian office is $125 for a visit, and 3 vaccines. This is based on the lowest price of visits and vaccines) If you have more than one pet, then it would be double or triple the cost! Cat vaccines are also $10 each for the rabies and cat combo as they only have the 2 vaccines. Again, it is only $20 for both cat vaccines and no hidden fees!
Southern Hills is offering a VERY rare, low-cost male dog neutering on 2 separate dates. They have 2 locations that are Corning, IA (1 hr 20 min), or Creston, IA. (1 hrs 45 minutes) I have personally used the Creston office myself for veterinary purposes and found the staff to be professional and curtious!
So please share as the population of animals being dumped, surrendered, or re-homed is enormous, with very little funding being given and not enough rescues or space!

If you want to use one of these options, but you don't have transportation or are unable to get their then Unique's Pet Services is offering to help by providing low-cost pet taxi services! We will pick you and your pet up from your home and return to your home afterward for only a $20 fee (round trip) or free for veterans. We have pet seatbelts to keep your pets safe, and if needed, we can provide carriers to transport cats if needed. Contact me with any questions or if you need help to take advantage of these low-cost options!

Our last giveaway was such a success that I decided to do one for August! All clients using our services this month are entered into the drawing on August 31st! Pictures of items are shown below, and all prizes and giveaways are brand new and available for purchase. Feel free to contact me for pricing.

All clients this month can choose to pick a pet keychain, stress squeeze animal, or a dog and/or cat toy. (We are out of the toys currently as the beginning of the month is busy with our elderly, disabled, and retired clients, but have more ordered and should arrive within a week, if wanting one of the toy(s) just let me know and I will make a note to drop off when they arrive or on next appointment)
