🐾 A Quick Update from Affurmative Dog Grooming 🐾
First and foremost, thank you.
Because of your continued support, all four of our groomers are currently at capacity. We truly appreciate every family that trusts us with their dogs. We don’t take that responsibility lightly.
As we’ve grown, we’re making a few updates to help us continue providing the quality care and consistency you’ve come to expect.
📅 Please rebook before leaving your appointment.
Our schedule fills quickly, and reserving your next visit before you leave is the best way to keep your preferred groomer, day, and time. We never want a maintenance client to lose their spot because we were fully booked.
⏰ Rescheduling Policy
Appointments rescheduled within 36hrs will be subject to our 25% rescheduling fee.
When a last-minute cancellation happens, that appointment is rarely filled, and another client misses the opportunity to get their dog groomed. This policy isn’t about collecting fees—it’s about respecting the time we’ve reserved for your dog, our groomers’ schedules, and being fair to every client waiting for an opening.
💲 A Quick Note About Pricing
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be reviewing each dog’s grooming needs individually.
Please don’t panic. Our integrity isn’t changing. We will continue to be honest, transparent, and fair to both our clients and our business.
Most clients won’t see a price change.
If your price does change, we’ll always explain why before your appointment. Factors that may affect pricing include:
• Your dog’s size
• Coat type or condition
• Behavior during grooming
• Overall time required to safely and properly complete the groom
Every dog is unique, and we believe pricing should reflect the time, care, and effort each groom requires—not a one-size-fits-all approach.
At Affurmative, our goal has never been to be the cheapest. Our goal is to provide exceptional care, build lasting relationships, and make sure every dog receives the time and attention they deserve.
