Cape Horn Veterinary Associates At CHVA, we understand how much your pets mean to you and your family. Medicine and healing doesn't begin and end in our office.

We want to strengthen the human-animal bond and improve the livelihood of your companion through client education and the most advanced medical care we can provide. It involves a team approach with the pet owner(s), veterinarian, veterinary care team as well as the occasional veterinary specialists and, of course, includes the animal itself! We care about your pet, and want them to succeed and get better as soon as possible. If we feel they would be better served by a specialist, we will let you know as soon as possible and we work closely with your pet's specialist to maintain an optimal level of care between offices and home. The Clinic:
The clinic is located in the Cape Horn Square Shopping Center at the northwest corner of Cape Horn and Lombard Roads. We are located on the west end towards Red Lion Corner Cafe. We offer plenty of off road parking in our spacious center parking lot. We have 4 comfortable exam rooms, a large pharmacy, treatment room, laboratory, centralized ICU, independent dental surgery suite and large general surgery suite, a digital radiology suite, and a separate space with generous runs for large dogs. We also have a comfort room, with a separate entrance and area of the hospital so that you may spend as much quiet time with your pet as needed.

Holiday Hours Reminder 🇺🇸

Our office will be CLOSED on Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, July 6th. In addition, the only Saturday we will be open in July, is Saturday July 11th.
As fireworks celebrations approach, many pets experience anxiety and stress from the loud noises. If your pet typically requires medication to help them stay calm during fireworks, please call our office as soon as possible to request refills or discuss treatment options.

Please don't wait until the last minute—medication requests often increase right before the holiday, and we want to make sure your pet is comfortable and prepared.

We wish you and your furry family members a safe and happy Fourth of July! 🎆🐾
