Good morning! I have a few announcements to make:

1️⃣ - This morning I began our basement renovation! We’ve slowly changed and adapted as we learned this business and your dog’s needs better. As we start year 6, we decided it’s time to for a major overhaul.

If anyone has any dog cots or outdoor patio cushions (the 2 or 3 piece, not the single or pillows) that they no longer need, we will happily take them off your hands. I have learned these patio cushions are more durable, easier to clean, and do not contain fluff! These will be used on top of the cots for some extra comfort.

We will also be adding some outdoor entertainment, sunning areas off the ground, and a shade shelter off the ground.

2️⃣ - As many of you know, my husband, Jay has a chronic kidney disease and some days are better than others. It is getting increasingly hard to keep a full time job when you have to take so many breaks and days off because of energy levels, etc. Disability will not be happening, as his kidney percentage is not below 20%. His highest percent from the last few years is around 35-40%. He will probably never go any higher than that and has outlived the projected life span. To say all this, my point is that he now is going to stay home a lot more but hopefully also be getting a part time job. He will be able to focus more of his time on helping with our dog business/watching the kids. He is our carpenter/Mr. Fix-it who has basically taken on all the renovations on his own. 🧰🔨

Along with all this, we decided to increase our boarding rates to $45/night. Our daycare rates will remain $25/day. If you are a previous client, you will be grandfathered in and your rate will remain the same. And yes, your contact will now have this emoji next to it.👴🏻

3️⃣ - We have met such amazing people through this business. People have made our children brownies, gifted them toys, and even new clothes as we’ve had babies. You’ve donated dog pools, toys, balls, treats, etc. Your dogs are pretty darn cute and funny too. 🐶😉 We sincerely are so grateful and thankful for each of you! 🥰

Our poor yard is brown and dead, but it is typically because they’re having so much fun. There is a ring around this bush from running in circles! Kenzie had to step in and referee the rowdy ones. 😂🐶

Also Merry Christmas from Hazel and her baby girl! Hazel delivered her one and only puppy on Dec 8th. She has easily doubled or tripled in size and just started to play today! It’s a good thing we got some toys for her for Christmas. 🎄

Name suggestions welcome since we will be keeping her! Her middle name will most likely be Cookie. She is a lab/shepherd mix. 🐾
