What an incredible experience GHSA this past weekend in Belton, TX. Presley and I tackled our very first western patterns together, and he took better care of me than I ever could have imagined — lending me his confidence when my anxiety was high and reminding me why he is so incredibly special to me.

To top it off, we were honored to bring home the Amateur Western High Point Award. I could not be more proud of this amazing horse and the partnership we continue to build together.

A huge thank you to my trainer and dear friend, Katie Hembree KD Performance Horses for the road trip, lessons, encouragement, and endless support all weekend long. Your guidance and belief in us means more than you know.

My heart is full, and I’m so excited for what this show season has in store for Team Presley. ❤️

We had a busy day one in Belton, TX @ GHSA.
Presley earned top honors in all his English Performance classes piloted by KD Performance Horses Katie Hembree. Presley and I navigated some really tough halter classes placing well and adding to his point total inching ever closer to his Hall of Fame.

So excited to be participating in our first show of the year in Texas with GHSA. Presley was so successful in his last show outing in September under the direction and training of KD Performance Horses earning Open WTC/WJL Grand Champion High Point, and placing in the top of the amateur classes with his new mom Deanna Schone. We feel even more ready with the support of Grace & Grit Horsemanship who have pushed us to excel even when we have doubted ourselves! To celebrate Presley’s birthday we went to Culver’s. He did great! Many new sounds, lots of traffic, and people. He met many new friends and took lots of photos. Love sharing my boy.
