🚨🐾 ATTENTION TEHAMA COUNTY — WE HAVE A DATE AND A LOCATION! 🐾🚨

We are SO excited to announce that Tehama County residents will now have a local place to purchase our Mill Creek Veterinary Hospital SNAP spay/neuter vouchers! 🎉🐱

A HUGE thank-you to the wonderful crew at Tractor Supply Co. in Red Bluff for graciously allowing us to set up at their location! ❤️

📅 GOING FORWARD:
We will be at Tractor Supply in Red Bluff on the FIRST SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH from 4–6 PM selling Mill Creek vouchers!

⚠️ BUT SEPTEMBER IS DIFFERENT! ⚠️

For THIS MONTH ONLY, we will be there:

🐾 SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13
⏰ 4–6 PM
📍 TRACTOR SUPPLY — RED BLUFF

💰 VOUCHER PRICES:
🐱 Female cat: $105
🐱 Male cat: $95

(We are a cat only program)

You don’t need to be a Tehama county resident to purchase a voucher for Mill Creek. We don’t care where you live. Our program is not city/county specific.

⚠️ For the time being, vouchers will be LIMITED TO TWO PER HOUSEHOLD per month. This will help us make sure as many families as possible have an opportunity to take advantage of the program.

Mill Creek has availability to start doing SNAP voucher spays and neuters the week of September 21! 🎉

💰 PLEASE NOTE: CASH ONLY!

And when we say cash, we mean good old-fashioned GREEN CASH. 😂💵

We are working on getting a Cash App option set up, but until that happens, please come prepared with cash.

This is something we’ve really wanted to make happen because we know driving all the way to Palo Cedro to purchase a voucher is a haul for our Tehama County folks. So we’re bringing the vouchers to YOU! ❤️🐾

And there’s another great reason to stop by Tractor Supply on Sundays!

🐶🐱 Tractor Supply hosts a VIP Petcare clinic on Sundays! They offer convenient preventative veterinary services, so be sure to check them out while you’re there.

Please SHARE, SHARE, SHARE so we can get the word out to Tehama County!

More access to affordable spay/neuter means more cats altered, fewer unwanted litters, and fewer kittens entering an already overwhelmed rescue system. ❤️🐱

SEE YOU SEPTEMBER 13 FROM 4–6 PM AT TRACTOR SUPPLY IN RED BLUFF! 🐾🎉

⚠️ RABIES FOUND IN BATS IN TEHAMA COUNTY ⚠️

Tehama County residents are urged to take precautions after rabid bats were recently found in the Antelope and Bend areas of Red Bluff.

Rabies is a deadly virus that can affect both animals and humans. Vaccinating your pets is the best protection for your family and community.

🐾 Important Reminders:
• Ensure your dogs, cats, and livestock are current on rabies vaccinations.
• If an unvaccinated animal comes into contact with an infected bat, the animal may be subject to a mandatory 6-month quarantine.
• Do NOT handle bats or allow pets to interact with them.
• If you or someone you know may have been exposed to a bat, seek medical attention immediately.

For vaccination information, contact:
• Tehama County Animal Care Center
• Your local veterinarian
• Tractor Supply vaccination clinics

Working together, we can help keep our pets, livestock, and community safe.

We’re in the home stretch! Only 200 boxes left to sell to reach her goal of 1500 boxes! This will probably be the last week we have cookies available, so reach out if you haven’t gotten yours yet! And thank you so much for everyone who has supported her already this season.

This kid is only 600 boxes away from reaching her goal of 1500 boxes! We only have a few weeks left to sell. The proceeds from her cookie sales not only help support her troop, they will help her earn money for her trip to Japan next year. We can deliver in the Red Bluff area.
