SPOT - Stray Pets of Tehama Helping homeless animals get a better life. SPOT is committed to helping lost and homeless pets and pet owners of Tehama County, California.

With emphasis on higher-risk felines, it is our mission to reunite lost pets with their loving guardians, to assist homeless pets find caring, forever homes, to provide pertinent animal information to pet owners, and to support the Tehama County Animal Care Center in its endeavors.

A GREAT deal... and you'll be helping a homeless animal in need!!!.. There are some amazing animals available... please come and see them and find your new best friend!!

Mark your calendars! Join us next Saturday, June 6 to celebrate California Adopt-a-Pet Day, with waived adoption fees for all available animals. Don’t miss this chance to bring home your new best friend!

Available animals are updated in real time, so keep an eye on our website to see the pets that will be available for adoption June 6th.

The shelter will be open extended hours as part of this statewide event! Adoption fees will be waived on June 6 from 11AM to 5PM, made possible by the generosity of the ASPCA. Licensing fees will apply.

***ADOPTED***We just picked this cutie up from the shelter where he was surrendered by his owners who couldn’t care for him. We’re still getting to know Connor but so far he’s outgoing, confident and friendly. He is really enjoying meeting the other big dogs in his foster home. Connor is just over a year old, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and scheduled to be neutered. Adoption fee $300 to help cover his medical costs.
