Meet the sweetest pup ever Gretta 💗 Gretta has been in the overcrowded shelter for 2 months ughh 😭 Gretta is a 9 month old pup who is a Border collie cross with a bigger breed mix because she is 58 pounds of georgeous 🥰! Gretta is definitely going to need our help so PLEASE work your magic and SHARE, SHARE, SHARE!!!!!

Gretta craves attention and love, I am not kidding when I say she is the sweetest girl ever💞 She gives hugs, wants to be a lap puppy and seriously loves everyone! But alas someone didn't teach Gretta much and she is pretty scared to go out on walks on leash so she will need a patient family to show her the world. She does great in a yard setting and loves to explore, roll around and be with other dog friends. She is great with other dogs and would love a doggy friend to help show her those ropes. We haven't tested her on cats, but she is a young girl and eager to please. She is also treat motivated, which will help her learn the ropes. She is learning sit and some leash manners from volunteers and she wants to learn, she is BC smart so she will get it! If you meet her, you will love her, so please meet her🥰

Gretta is spayed, utd on vaccines, hw negative and ready to get out of there and into the home to conquer the world ❣️

🚨🐾 ATTENTION TEHAMA COUNTY — WE HAVE A DATE AND A LOCATION! 🐾🚨

We are SO excited to announce that Tehama County residents will now have a local place to purchase our Mill Creek Veterinary Hospital SNAP spay/neuter vouchers! 🎉🐱

A HUGE thank-you to the wonderful crew at Tractor Supply Co. in Red Bluff for graciously allowing us to set up at their location! ❤️

📅 GOING FORWARD:
We will be at Tractor Supply in Red Bluff on the FIRST SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH from 4–6 PM selling Mill Creek vouchers!

⚠️ BUT SEPTEMBER IS DIFFERENT! ⚠️

For THIS MONTH ONLY, we will be there:

You don’t need to be a Tehama county resident to purchase a voucher for Mill Creek. We don’t care where you live. Our program is not city/county specific.

⚠️ For the time being, vouchers will be LIMITED TO TWO PER HOUSEHOLD per month. This will help us make sure as many families as possible have an opportunity to take advantage of the program.

Mill Creek has availability to start doing SNAP voucher spays and neuters the week of September 21! 🎉

And when we say cash, we mean good old-fashioned GREEN CASH. 😂💵

We are working on getting a Cash App option set up, but until that happens, please come prepared with cash.

This is something we’ve really wanted to make happen because we know driving all the way to Palo Cedro to purchase a voucher is a haul for our Tehama County folks. So we’re bringing the vouchers to YOU! ❤️🐾

Melanie has been in the overcrowded shelter for 102 days 😢!!!!!!! Melanie is a sweet 2 year old sheperd mix who's fee has been SPONSORED by a geneous donor! That amount of time starts to wear on the shelter dogs and that is NOT good, Melanie is feeling the strain and urgently needs our help, PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE SHARE MELANIE!!!

Melanie is just one of so many beautiful shepherd mixes being completely overlooked in the shelter💔 She is a beautiful girl who certainly deserves a forever family! Melanie walks on leash well, she knows sit and lay down. It will take a minute for her to be the sweet girl she is because she is overstressed there but she is very affectionate and wants to please her people. Melanie is good with other dogs, unknown on cats. She can be tested in the cat room for aggression purposes, but not chasing. Melanie like most dogs just wants to be loved. She loves all people and kids. Melanie will make a great family dog, adventure buddy and best friend.

PLEASE PLEASE KEEP SHARING, ZERO INTEREST! SMOKEY WILL BECOME URGENT SOON, Please help this goodest boy by continuing to share!

When you know they were loved once and then see them in the overcrowded shelter it just breaks your heart 💔. People walk by and he looks at them just like this, calm and hopeful. Meet Smokey, Smokey is a middle aged handsomest gentleman who is just looking to be loved again! He deserves better, so much better PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE SHARE Smokey!!!!!! We cannot let him stay there 😭 L👀k at that face!

Smokey was a gem on our outing. But first things first potty talk: Smoky is holding his potty in the kennel and that has to be terribly hard for him. He peed for a full minute and did his other business too, he is very clearly potty trained and doesn't want to go in his kennel, poor baby!!!! He walks like a dream on leash and enjoys walks and outings. Smokey knows the things he sits and lays down. He is a happy guy who loves people and kids. Smokey is great with other dogs and didn't care about the cats in the cat room. Smokey will be a wonderful companion and family dog. He is easy and wonderful, I am hoping someone falls in love like I did❤️
