Teaching Sit Stay with smooth mechanics and efficient timing builds credit. The flat hand teaches the dog food is on the way don’t move so when you need a stay without a food reward, you’ve built up credit. The Dog learns reinforcement is on the way stay still.

Saxon is a 3 year APBT who’s been known to react at dogs. He took well to the YES & Treat protocol and stayed under threshold with the two dogs we saw. Now his people have a plan and he should do much better.
