"Very careful, considerate care for my 2-yr old male rescue after he was hit (lightly) by a car. They led-him into the exam room, Dr Alexis came in, checked him out head to paw, cleaned up some road rash, prescribed antibiotic and NSAID. They told me what to watch for during thr next 2 days. Definitely glad Swimming River Veterinary Hospital is my vet!" says Carol on Google

"I highly recommend this place for all your furry loves to go to. I wish I’d known sooner, before having to take my 14yr old Mavrick, (male cat), to another nameless place. Being I had to let my furry love go, the vet and everyone who worked there.. were so caring and compassionate. I’ve never felt that before, with any vet place I’ve been too. Definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️" says Dawn on Google

Ticks are everywhere this season already! New Jersey, especially Monmouth County, is one of the most Lyme endemic states in the country.
Both humans and dogs are at risk, but protection is possible for our canine friends. Monthly oral, topical, or collar flea/tick prevention is the first and best line of defense (though some products are better than others). For pets that spend a lot of time outside, go hiking/camping, or live near wooded and beach areas, the Lyme vaccine is an added layer of protection.
In dogs, symptomatic Lyme disease can cause: fever, lethargy, swollen/painful joints, and in some cases, acute kidney failure. Prevention is better than treatment!
Ask us at your dog’s next visit if the Lyme vaccine is right for them!
