Please make sure your dogs are current on their Lyme vaccine AND a preventative. Lyme disease can be fatal in dogs.

Happy Friday! It has been a rainy week in eastern PA. Once the weather warms back up and you can return to enjoying the outdoors, make sure to be extra cautious for nymph and larval ticks. Larval ticks are about the size of a needlepoint, but believe it or not, many people pull them off themselves and their pets and send them to our lab.

Everyone send Luna healing wishes. She had orthopedic surgery yesterday to correct her luxating patella. She has 6 weeks of strict rest and recovery ahead of her. She’s doing phenomenal so far. She ate, took her meds, went potty outside, and is back down for a nap. ❤️‍🩹
