Cuteness warning. This is Mr Strawberry and he is this weeks bootcamp pup. He was born with some health issues but is getting stronger every day. Despite his setbacks he was still able to learn all the basics and get potty trained. He is just as proud of himself as I am. We absolutely loved having him here for training.

This majestic beast is Gracie and she is this week’s bootcamp pup. Cane corsos are not for the beginner. They require early training and early socialization. Gracie is a very smart girl and learned good manners in no time. A+ student!

Happy Valentine’s Day to all the pooches out there. Homemade cookies for mine again this year.
1 cup canned pumpkin
2 cups flour
2 spoonfuls peanut butter (no xylitol or birch sugar substitute it’s poison to dogs)
1 egg
1/4 chopped fresh parsley
Mix it all up and roll it out on a well floured board. It is a sticky dough. Cut out with cookie cutters and bake at 375 for around 30 minutes depending on size. Store in jar with lid off or paper bag.

This goofy girl is Mavis and she is this weeks bootcamp pup. In just 5 days she has learned leave it, stay, roll call, not to jump up, hurdles and the hoop. Our main focus was teaching her a bit of self control and she has done a great job. Now to train her owners. If you have a pup 5 months or younger I have availability this month. I know it’s a lot of pics but this weeks bootcamp puppy is just too darn cute. Oslo is a sweet, smart little papillon who gets an A+ for the week. He learned good manners, to potty outside, basic tricks and how to make friends with all kinds of critters.

I’ve only posted pictures of the puppies that come to bootcamp but my in home training clients are just as adorable. This is Yogi. He was an absolute sweetheart. His owner was struggling a bit but it just came down to communication. In just an hour they both learned how to do commands, properly walk on leash, stop the jumping and everything else he needed to be a happy well balanced fella. Dogs and cats can make the best of friends but if you use clumping litter make sure it is where your dogs cannot access it. Clumping litter can cause severe blockages and can be potentially life threatening to your canine companion.
