Are you an experienced receptionist who loves animals and thrives in a bustling environment? Rootstown Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our front desk team!

As a face (and voice) of our clinic, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our clients, and staff, and, of course, welcoming plenty of four-legged patients. 🐕

📋 Position Details:
Hours: Full-time (35–38 hours per week estimate).

Experience: Previous veterinary front desk and customer service experience is required.

What we’re looking for: Excellent communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, a professional demeanor, and a genuine passion for animal and client care.

Pet of the Week!🥳

This week it is two cute kitties named Max and Ruby!😸😸

"Max and Ruby (yes after the TV show) they were dumped kitties that found their way to my home and heart.❤ They are the sweetest. Max is a huge cuddle bug and wants all the attention. Ruby likes her space but loves to cuddle on your legs in the quilt. They love to play with their sister and brother dogs. Their favorite things are their scratch post and their bird toys that sing and have lights. They’re love to chase the laser with dad also. They are crazy energetic and run thru the house at full speed and use their bed as a trampoline to jump off. They are amazing!😻"

Pet of the Week!🥳

This week is a sweet dog named Zoey!🐶❤

"Meet Zoey an 8 year old Labrador Retriever mix. Zoey is a rescue from One of a Kind Pet Rescue.

Her favorite things to do are chasing wild animals and cats in the backyard, talk to the neighbors dog across the street when they are out at the same time, play with her toys, sunbath in the grass in the summer, protect her house and take naps.

She is a very regimented dog. She has a daily routine and follows it to a “T”.

She loves to take her mom and dad’s seats when we get up to do something. When we return she looks at us so innocently like what am I doing wrong.

She is very protective of our house. She wakes up from a dead sleep if a delivery person stops out in front of our house or a FedEx or UPS truck drives down the road. She is also good at letting us know if someone is walking down the road.

The pictures are of her napping in her favorite recliner, her Kong tire which is one of her favorites, a bone which looks like she has a cigar in her mouth, and when we first brought her home.

We are beyond blessed to have her in our life!!"

Pet of the week!❤

This week is a pet who was sent in not too long ago, but sadly crossed the Rainbow Bridge recently. 🌈

He was one of our staffs favorites to see and snuggle with.

I'm so grateful to have the pleasure of making Apollo this weeks Pet of the Week!🐶❤

Here are some words from his wonderful owner Kelly about how truthfully amazing he was.

"Apollo Dozer AKA Bubba is a 7 year old male Rottweiler who thinks BALL 🎾 LIFE!!

Rain, snow or shine this larger than life fella LOVED to be outside getting his sniffs in. Did I mention he LOVED chicken nuggets and car rides!

He was a friendly and large fella who loved to meet new friends. Sometimes people were unsure of him because of his size but he quickly won them over with his charm and big goofy smile. Apollo was a Therapy Dog who had made countless people smile over the years. He enjoyed visiting his elders and has also been involved with children reading programs! Apollo says his momma always tells him he’s a wonderful ambassador for his breed. Apollo had recent health concerns and we had spent lots of time with our FRIENDS at Rootstown Vet Hospital. Apollo rates them 5 PAWS for service and snuggles received at the clinic - especially from Dr. Amport!🐾🐾🐾

We are FURever grateful for Rootstown Vet Hospital for all their love and care 🩵🐾"

We here at RVH are grateful to have been the ones to care and love Apollo till his last day. He will forever be in all of our hearts.❤

Pet of the Week!🥳

This week is a sweet Corgi named Winifred!🐶🥰

"Winifred is a 2yo Cardigan Welsh Corgi x Pembroke Welsh Corgi cross. She was born hearing impaired and she has micropthalmia in her left eye. And believe it or not, despite all that, she plays on a Toss and Fetch frisbee league! She loves her frisbee time🩷 She also loves helping her mom garden. Her most favorite treat is peanut butter! Winifred has some pretty big feelings to go with that small size of hers, and she isn't afraid to make those known (very loudly)."
