The old adage from Joel Salatin, the godfather of modern permaculture-based homesteading, tells us about the pairing of animals together. Whereas a sheep or pony or cow will eat what is from its shoulders and below, a goat loves to eat what they can find from its shoulders and above. This video is proof of that.

The grazing is a little meager, but we opened up the side yard to the animals. Even though we've been giving them hay they keep wandering the land looking for greener things.
